To promote higher education and family activities in a safe and drug/alcohol free environment for students on a statewide level.  We stress the importance of education and life skills, working as mentors to our youth, developing their leadership skills, and helping them develop a commitment to the future of our state.  The Alaska High School Rodeo Association is a non-profit corporation organized under the laws of Alaska.  Alaska joined NHSRA in 2004.  We are the Alaska affiliate of the National High School Rodeo Association which is an international organization dedicated to the education, development of sportsmanship, and character of our youth through the sport of rodeo.
